In 2008, Ron started Pondurance in his basement in Westfield, Indiana. With over 15 years of information security and business continuity experience, he brings seasoned expertise in all areas of risk advisory, incident response, and forensic investigations. In addition, his training as a US Army commissioned officer has equipped him with problem-solving and risk analysis capabilities well-suited for the tech world. Outside of work, Ron serves as a member of the Indiana Executive Council on Cybersecurity, as well as the FBI’s Indiana Cyber Threat Focus Group. He enjoys reading, biking, and triathlon competitions, and lives in Indianapolis with his wife, a campaign leader for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Landon is the Chief Executive Officer at Pondurance. Originally from Crawfordsville, Indiana, he began his tech career working for IBM at age 19. Soon after, his parents’ computer suffered a cyber attack, sparking Landon’s passion for information security. As a self-taught and lifelong learner, he’s gained a strong cyber security background spanning multiple industries while earning his CISSP credentials. When he’s not behind a keyboard, Landon loves cooking, auto racing, working on his car, camping, and mountain biking. He also volunteers as one of the Indianapolis OWASP Chapter Leaders and participates in the Indiana InfraGard chapter. He lives in Indianapolis with his son.
Dustin brings over a decade of experience in information security, risk management, and regulatory compliance to Pondurance. His prior work history includes healthcare compliance, risk assessments, policy development, and cyber security analytics. With tangible industry experience, Dustin understands client hardships and how to recommend processes, all while speaking the client’s language. He earned his PhD, MBA, and BS from IUPUI, Indiana Wesleyan, and Capella. Outside of Pondurance, Dustin teaches classes on Linux, Microsoft, cyber security, and legal issues as an adjunct professor at Ivy Tech, Sullivan University, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical. He lives in Indianapolis with his wife and three children.
Brett manages the regulatory compliance experience at Pondurance, where he assists in building programs to alleviate compliance pain points for his clients. With a broad spectrum of industry experience, Brett looks for new ways to improve processes, use resources more effectively, and seeks opportunities through risk assessments and compliance audits. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two cats, traveling, games, reading, and movies.
Curtis focuses his immense experience on penetration and application testing engagements. With a lifelong passion for all things IT, he brings a well-rounded skill set to the team. His prior roles include professional experience as a database administrator, systems administrator, senior security analyst in a global SOC, and a lead digital forensics investigator and malware analyst. Curtis has created his own Intrusion Detection and Response platform in his free time, and loves to tinker with innovative ideas. He also likes spending time with family and being outdoors.
Mike has enjoyed a career of nearly forty years in the information technology and cybersecurity industry at IBM, Siemens, Sprint, and AT&T as well as several smaller and startup businesses. He brings those years of experience helping organizations tackle the challenges of cybersecurity to better protect their clients and their hard-earned brand reputation to his role at Pondurance as the bridge between our sales and operations teams. Mike also manages the Pondurance Partner Program and relationships with several of Pondurance’s key clients. He is active in the Central Indiana Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) chapter and a member of InfraGard, a partnership between the FBI and members of the private sector. Away from work Mike enjoys spending time with his wife cooking, traveling and visiting their grandchildren. You might also find him on a golf course, shooting sporting clays, or engrossed in a good book (after dark or when it’s raining) in his free time. He also enjoys really good whiskey, red wine, good craft beers, and fine cigars.
Nick is a Customer Engagement Manager for Pondurance. Nick received his Bachelor of Science in Business from Coastal Carolina University. Prior to joining Pondurance, Nick worked in sales for AT&T, gaining experience in telecommunications and security. Nick enjoys learning about the unique needs of his clients and collaborating with them to deliver on their expectations. When Nick isn't working he enjoys working out, golfing, and traveling.
Kristina Easton is a Customer Engagement Manager at Pondurance. As a Customer Engagement manager Kristina works with prospects and clients to understand their cybersecurity challenges and provide appropriate and personalized recommendations. With over 10 years of experience in sales, Kristina understands the importance of developing strong relationships with clients and recommending services that are personalized and unique to each individual client. Kristina understands that evaluating cyber security services and experiencing cyber security incidents can be extremely stressful and she is passionate about alleviating some of the stress for her clients and making the process as simple as possible.
Kristina was born and raised in Bay City, Michigan and graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Indianapolis.
Cathy serves as the head of accounting at Pondurance. She brings significant experience from a variety of industries to the team. Not only has she implemented various web-based solutions to design an integrated accounting system, but she’s also built a strategic planning and decision-making financial model for Pondurance. Outside of work, she volunteers at Hamilton Southeastern HS, implementing their first online ticketing software and event promotion. She also enjoys cooking, reading, walking, and singing in her church choir.
Braden manages healthcare sales for Pondurance. Braden received his Bachelor of Science from Missouri State University and his Master of Business Administration from Drury University. Braden has worked in the information technology and security space for over eight years, primarily in delivery roles. Braden enjoys addressing the unique security and compliance challenges faced by healthcare organizations and is a fierce advocate for his clients. When Braden isn't working he enjoys spending time with his wife, Niki, and daughter, Eva. Braden also enjoys reading, fly fishing, and kayaking.
Kelly leads the Project Management Office at Pondurance, and is responsible for creating the process and building the team that makes customer implementations possible for the Pondurance Threat Hunting & Response service. Kelly has over twelve years of experience in project management, IT and operations in the consulting, retail, logistics and real estate industries. Kelly is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), currently holds the esteemed Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, and is a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington.
When she isn’t working, Kelly serves as an officer of the Board of Directors for Women & Hi Tech. Additionally, she volunteers time with Indy Reads, the Central Indiana Chapter of the IU Alumni Association, the IU Foundation, and the Junior League of Indianapolis. Kelly is a west coast native, and today resides in downtown Indianapolis with her two black cats. She is an avid reader and a practicing yogi.
Rachel serves as the SOC Manager at Pondurance. She oversees day-to-day SOC operations, and focuses on advancing the SOC’s around the clock coverage, as well as enhancing Pondurance’s overall threat-hunting capabilities. Rachel is completing her PhD in Cyber Forensics at Purdue University. She also brings many years of industry experience. Outside of the office, she enjoys swimming, lifting weights, and spending time with her 5 cats, and 3 dogs.
Lewie is a Senior Integration Software Engineer at Pondurance. Prior to joining the team, he gained a wealth of IT experience as the Service Desk Manager at Netfor, where he was responsible for operations and incident management. He also developed, maintained, and improved procedures for nearly every aspect of the service desk, gaining valuable know-how in many roles related to IT and service delivery. Outside of work, he likes to play around with laser spirographs, work on cars, and spend time with his wife and kids.
