Doug has over 30 years of experience as a technology leader and innovator in security with a highly-developed background in business development, M&A, operations, engineering, marketing, sales, and executive leadership. In his previous role at RSA as Vice President of Global Services and IT Innovation, he provided leadership support for RSA’s strategic vision and global operational execution, various Dell Governance Programs and the M&A exit to STG from Dell. A former member of the U.S. Air Force, Doug holds a bachelor’s degree in Management and Marketing from Strayer University.
Lyndon Brown brings a career focus in building high-growth technology companies to Pondurance where he is responsible for Product Management, Corporate Development, Marketing and driving cross-functional performance. Prior to joining Pondurance, Lyndon served as Vice President of Business Development at FireEye Mandiant, where he focused on strategic growth initiatives. As an executive, Lyndon has successfully led product management, M&A, and global partnerships at firms such as Verodin (acquired by FireEye) and Endgame (acquired by Elastic).
Mike Melka is a seasoned financial executive with an extensive background in building and scaling high-growth technology companies. He previously served as the CFO of Avenu Insights & Analytics, a private equity-backed provider of software and tech-enabled services to state and local governments in the US, where he has led the acquisition and integration of multiple carved-out businesses. Mike is a licensed CPA and holds a bachelor’s degree from Towson University in Maryland.
Ron Pelletier is the original Founder of Pondurance, having started the company from his basement in 2008. Ron has over 25 years of cyber security advisory experience. He started his career as an officer in the US Army, followed by nine years with Big Four firm, EY. As a strong consensus builder and customer advocate, Ron is focused on evangelizing the Pondurance brand as well as customer success.
Dustin has over 20 years of experience in information security, risk management and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining Pondurance, Dustin was a risk and compliance professional focusing on HIPAA, PCI and risk assessments for new technology acquisitions ranging from infrastructure solutions to patient care devices. Dustin is also currently an adjunct professor at Ivy Tech Community College, Sullivan University and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University teaching undergrad and master’s level cyber security courses.
Cathy has significant experience in the tech industry and has served as Controller for businesses in a variety of industries. Since joining Pondurance in December 2016, Cathy has implemented various web-based solutions to design an integrated accounting system and built a financial model to aid the company in planning and strategic decision-making. Cathy graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mount St. Joseph University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Jimmy brings more than two decades of marketing experience and leadership to the Pondurance team, having most recently led product marketing at IBM Security Services. Previously, he led both content and solutions marketing for IBM Security, the largest enterprise security vendor in the industry with about 8,000 employees. Earlier in his career, Jimmy held both marketing and management roles at firms such as Fiberlink (acquired by IBM), Nokia, Pfizer and Procter & Gamble. Jimmy holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Yale University.
Amy is a strategic and operational leader with 20+ years of executive experience in a variety of industries. Most recently, Amy founded Coaching and Business Consulting company Mana Advisory Group, providing executive coaching, operational support and guidance in the areas of strategy, operations, growth, finance, accounting, HR, and marketing. She has led peer learning communities of entrepreneurs through Growth10 and held leadership positions in operations with VersaTech, Inc., Caerus Associates, and the YMCA Tauranga in New Zealand, among others. Amy has a MBA from the Marshall School of Business at USC.
Mike Sherwood brings a deep understanding of Managed Security Services (MSS) and Managed Detection and Response (MDR) to Pondurance, having spent the past 20-plus years developing and leading high-performance sales teams serving these markets. At Pondurance, Mike is responsible for managing a fast-growing national sales team and for driving sales strategy and execution. Previously, he was AVP of Managed Services for Proofpoint, EVP of Global Sales at InteliSecure (acquired by Proofpoint in March 2021), and Executive Director, Global Business Development at SecureWorks. Mike holds a MBA from Wake Forest University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
